Those always excelled - naturally - on other fields such as aether related classes conscripts were mostly in charge of teaching the arts of Magi."Life in the academy was hell to any of the lowborn..."Her devotion in study and lack of physical skills made her start from the bottom. Even conscripts excelled in physical strength in comparison. The trainee started from the very bottom as a hastati or raw and inexperienced soldiers."The past is often there to remind you what not to do again..."She was given an option to join a program where it would elevate her strength, speed, dexterity and even metabolism in exchange of selling your soul to Garlemald. Being a pawn with prospering physical skills and high intelligence was a requirement to become something more. After all the evaluation, the usual day at the Military Academy happened, from drills to training and combat expertise.The integral part often finished at night where most would be readying themselves to go sleep while those in this special program were required to do more. A mental resiliency training and push of their physical strength. These received a harsher education in culture, background and even helped performances in arts in order to learn, adapt and become part of...in other words, infiltration. There... from actively fire arm training to melee specialization and even ballet was forced until muscles were all defined.What time those had to sleep? Only weekends would be given the luxury of eight bells, but during the weekdays? In an exchange of special assembly, ciphers were gathered to create search parties. Transferences between the Legions happened and few Pyr - Captains were promoted to lead small squads beyond the Cloud Tops of Dravania.Lucina, or Cipher 0794 was promoted as Pyr and so led a squad. Just to reach Azys Ila and find their waystones and even find a way to reach the Aetheryte in the Helix alongside airships... where VIth Legion never left notes, took in total 3 years."When you are abandoned by your own..."The squads were dwindled in numbers, enough to assemble a total of five compared to the original eight. Each was tasked to visit quadrants and the flagship of eldritch past. The search for the remainder of the VIth Legion seemed very close to its conclusion.Each quadrant possessed sets of waystones and teleportation devices where hopping between one and another became possible, including the use of smaller airships. Unfortunately some didn't even make to their intended destination as rogue experiments, aberrations and Allag golems attacked.Lucina's squad was one of the two that reached the Beta Quadrant where labs and safe zones were visited, some even had the equipment used by the VIth...and still intact."Nightmare that never goes away..."--REDACTED--"Life as Eorzean"Starting a new life at Eozea was a fresh start.
